Laser plastic welding
 
Principle of laser plastic welding: the laser beam penetrates the upper transparent material, reaches the surface of the lower light absorbing material, converts the

laser light energy into heat energy, and melts its surface. At the same time, the heat is also transmitted from the bottom surface to the contact surface of the upper

transparent workpiece crimped with it, so as to realize laser hot melt welding. After the narrow weld is cooled, it will be consistent with the strength of the material

itself.

Laser plastic welding can produce welds with almost the same strength as the material itself, without debris or dust, and without the introduction of any chemical

substances or other additives. The cleanliness of the whole manufacturing process is high. The weld is from a few tenths of a millimeter to a few millimeters and

has good sealing. Especially when fine and beautiful weld structure is needed, laser welding is undoubtedly the most ideal technology.











In addition to the welding between light transmitting and light absorbing materials described above, two transparent welding parts can also be connected through a

special laser source using transparent welding technology. This welding method is particularly important when laser absorbing plastic parts are not allowed to add

any additives or must be evaluated by optical analysis after welding.
